  • Travel allowance usually covers picking up and dropping off toys, not the entire trip.
  • Be prepared to travel beyond your area; short-notice jobs are rewarded.
  • For group placements, coordinate with nannies in your area to travel together and share expenses, as travel allowance cannot be paid to everyone.

Tips
  • Tips are a bonus and should never be requested.
  • If you work alone, tips are yours to keep.
  • In group work, tips are shared equally unless each nanny cares for a separate family;  in that case, keep your own family’s tip.
Rates and Hours Worked
  • Nannies must send clients’ names, dates, venue, and hours worked to the office for  payment. Directly after the sit, with a long sit you sent all the hours at the end of the  sit.
  • For example: Client: AMANDA, Webersburg, 12 December, 15:00–23:00.
  • For group placements, note if you were the driver, for long-term sits, state if live-in  and the venue.
  • Rates are determined by several factors: hourly/daily/single/group, client,  duration, season, and experience.
Payment Procedures
  • No advance payments or travel allowances are provided.
  • For cash payments, confirm amount and check the cash immediately—any shortfalls  are deducted.
  • Payments are processed twice monthly, around the 15th and 30th.
  • The final December payment is made on the 15th, with the next on January 15th.
  • The office is closed from December 24 to January 5, but phones are monitored.
Communication via WhatsApp and Office Messages

  • Job posts are placed on the WhatsApp group—You can reply with a thumbs-up if  available; selections are confirmed privately.
  • Any accidents or incidents need to be reported to the office

  • Be patient and accommodating when language barriers arise.
  • Families are on holiday; it is your duty to ensure they can truly relax.

  • Frequent illness may result in removal from group placements—bring basic  medication. (Pain pills, Nasua or any chronic tablets.)
  • The festive season (December–January) is the busiest and offers strong earning  potential.
  • Loyal nannies are given priority for future assignments.
  • Returning families often request the same nanny, streamlining administration.
  • For long-term placements, we check in regularly and can send replacements if  needed.
